Good Morning All!
I had to write a few notes today.
This would have been my moms 85th birthday and on June 1st it would have been my dads 88th birthday. I miss them both but have come to realize how blessed I am they were the ones that raised me and that I will get to know again when my time on earth is through.
I have 2 pictures displayed in my house that are dear to me. One is their wedding picture and one is a year later when they lived in Rome, NY and my dad is in uniform.
This makes me feel as if they are right here beside me.
My computer keeps crashing and until I buy a new one I probably won't post many pictures. I am lucky most are on a scandisc and are saved.
I love you all. I (like all of you keep saying) am so grateful for this blogging stuff so I can always feel a part of you.....and hopefully you can feel my love thru the screen.

I am not even close to grasping how fast time flies!
Its been so long since I posted I don't even remember how to change fonts and colors anymore.
My computer took a mini crash about a month ago and once again my pics are not on it. I know I have to back up things. I have the pictures on a card somewhere though....so that is good.
Don't die of shock but guess who is Relief Society pres of our ward? Ha ha. Is one of the reasons I have less time but thats not an excuse to not keep up with you all.
Was so fun to open up all your blogs today and see what you are up to.
We did take a drive to New Orleans and visited Cameron and his family. He has done a great job turning a beat down crack house into a beautiful place for him and his family. We helped build a shed while there. Using some of Grandpa Berts tools and also put the grandfather clock that belonged to him and Grandma Marge into his living room.
Ate wonderful food. Hit Cafe Du Monde 3 times for beignets.
Love you all.

I hope we treat our loved ones good every day. That is a true Valentines gift.
On a lighter note. I hope no one gets sick on all that chocolate...LOL

I am still alive!
Just to say hello and keep in the habit of posting.
Puppy is doing well. He knows his name and plays a version of fetch. He loves Tres toys and Tres tries to steal his.
Bongo would also like to play with the cat but has found out that cats have claws.
So does anyone else watch the reality shows but me? Tell me your favorite ones.
This is like my Tres---can never keep his hair long though. Too much upkeep.

Holiday Blur
Well the holidays have come and gone --thank goodness. There is so much hype I think we get overloaded.
Had a good time with the 3 daughters, spouses and 8 of 11 grandkids here. Was noisy but a noise that made me smile. The economy hit home but made us realize more and again how important family is. If only Cameron could have been here...We hope to drive there in the next month or so. He claimed stuff of Grandpa Huntingtons that we have been storing. I am ready for him to have it......((((smile)))
I have been reading all your blogs and I am pleased to see you all survived the chaos and even more happy I can read about it.
I will learn this picture stuff. I have a new puppy to show off. My Tres (shih tzu) is not so pleased with our new baby but I think he will learn to love him
He is a Papillon named Bongo:^) 8 weeks old and full of the dickens.
